“Then He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. [Luke 9 :1-2]
Behold I have given unto you power to tread over serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. [Luke 10: 19]
Believers in Christ are people of great authority. You have authority, if indeed you have been born of the Spirit. yes, you have been given the authority over Satan and all his demon hosts. This great truth must sink into your inner-most being and transform your outlook. Jesus gave you that authority that you may wield it victoriously in His name and thus glorify Him on earth.
when Jesus went to Calvary two thousand years ago, He stripped Satan of his power and openly put him to shame. the cross of Jesus brought open shame to the devil.[col. 2:14-15] He crushed Satan and took back from him the keys he had stolen from Adam. He collected the keys of Hades and death, and to you who believe in Him has He bestowed dominion and authority.
Having defeated Satan, the Christ of God restored man’s dominion and authority. You are seated together with Him in the heavenly.[ Eph.2: 6] You and I now share of His majesty. We are redeemed to reign with Him on earth.
It is your time therefore to rise to triumphant exploit making. It is time to rule over and destroy the evil forces that have been waring against your life, family, finances and ministry.
You have authority in Christ Jesus. You are being sent to bind and lose. You plant and uproot, setting devil’s captives free!
