KEY TO EAGLE CHRISTIANITY One, appropriate the Calvary blood covenant. Personally you should consciously enter into this covenant with your Maker. Every man and woman should. This is the first and fundamental mystery of the triumphant Christian living. Are you a God’s covenant person? Relationship with God only begins on the ground of this redemptive covenant. “And if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away, and behold all things are become new.” (II Cort. 5:17) Apostle Peter instructs concerning our new covenant status thus: “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy Nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of Him (CHRIST) who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (I Pet 2:9 Emphasis mine) Two, establish spiritual intimacy with God. Fellowshipping with the LORD of covenant is paramount to eagle-like living. Through the Holy Spirit you can successfully establish and run this second mystery of triumphant living. It is not enough for covenant relationship to be in place, friendship and fellowship must rightly fellow. Spiritual fellowship and intimacy is the key to growing and flourishing Christian life. Likewise, real spiritual power is a product of not just Holy Ghost baptism but also of unfailing spiritual fellowshipping. …But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith (IJhn. 5:4) Three, build up your faith in God, His Word and promises. Faith is the third mystery of the eagle Christianity. How? Faith is the master operative key in man’s dealing with God; it is the victory and the key to victorious living. Every believer can be a person of sure and royal faith. Living faith is that which manifests the full thrill of the victorious and miraculous experiences, sailing courageously through the enduring dark night to the glorious daylight. “For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith (IJhn. 5:4) WHAT ABOUT THE DOVE Lest we forget the dove is the only one among the winged fowls the scriptures uses to symbolize the divine Holy Spirit. It was so because of his characters of loveliness, gentleness, beauty, purity and prowess. The Holy Spirit is the living fountain of all wonders. He is the power of the Highest, the very power from on high. Without Him in the Church, the Church would be all dead, no living ignition will be sure, and no true power will flow. The Holy Spirit is our Lifeline in hours of trouble, and our ivory Tower in times of battles. He is sent here to show us Christ and the things of Christ. It is time to seek His fellowship to assume the amazing, eagle’s heights. After all, by Him come all that we need and will ever need for our triumph and blessings in life. He is the One now in charge. Dear friend, let me solemnly ask you this question: where among these winged fowl families do you belong? Are you a member of Domestic Wings Fowls, Water Winged Fowls or Flying Creeping Winged Fowls? Do you belong to the family of Wild Winged Fowls or the Royal Eagle? Please, go over this chapter again, prayerfully and meditatively. You will surely locate your family.
